Jakarta Distributes Aid for Worship Houses in Pandeglang

The Jakarta Disaster Response Collaboration Team once again handed over assistance in the form of logistics, building equipment and cleaning equipment to the caretakers of the At-Taqwa Grand Mosque and Qori Qotul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Cikeusik Sub-district, Pandeglang Regency, Banten, on Wednesday (1/19).

Logistical assistance was also distributed to dozens of households in Sukamulya and Cikadongdong villages, Cikeusik Sub-district.

The assistance given to the mosque caretakers included mattresses, mattresses, food rations, carts, hoe, buckets, dippers, dustpans, bath soap and hand sanitizers. Even, dozens of task force officers also deployed to clean up the At-Taqwa Mosque area.

Logistical Aid from Jakarta Arrives in Pandeglang

At-Taqwa Mosque Imam, Kyai Rosyid expressed his gratitude for the assistance from the Jakarta administration.

"Thank you Jakarta Governor and its residents who have provided assistance to support residents' worship at the mosque," he expressed, in Cikeusik, Pandeglang.

Jakarta BPBD Acting Head, Sabdo Kurnianto hoped that it could be useful for the needs of the At-Taqwa Mosque and the Qori Qatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School.

"We also thank the mosque caretakers who have accepted our officers while carrying out humanitarian duty in Cikeusik," he said.

On the third day in Pandeglang, the team had completed their humanitarian duty, namely distributing assistance and repairing villagers' houses in Cikadongdong, Sukasuka and Sukamulya villages after the earthquake a few days ago.

Cikeusik Sub-district Secretary, Wawan Kosasih added, he apologized if there was a shortage of personnel services while the team was carrying out their humanitarian mission to help earthquake victims.

"Thank you, hope their hard work can help the residents of Cikeusik also become a charity of worship," he closed.
